Question, if this is true, in the Book of Enoch chapter 10:11-12, "All the sons of men shall not perish in consequence of every secret, by which the Watchers have destroyed, and which they have taught, their offspring. 12 All the earth has been corrupted by the effects of the teaching of Azazyel. To him therefore ascribe the whole crime. "

If that is God's truth, and your only accountable for your own wickedness and actions, would you feel guilty for your accusations against God? What if your bad thoughts towards him are believing a lie against him, what if his goodness and kindness far exceed what you've known?

An atheist can not hate God. Just like I can not hate pixie fairies. I can hate the image of it, the things some people do for it.

In this light your question doesn't really make sense. An atheist (which I'm not btw) would never accuse God being evil, or missing kindness.

IF Thor and Odin exist, would you feel guilty for not being a warrior fit to be with them in Valhallah, and help them in the end of the days against Jetterne? Think about it, they need you!

The answer is that you think its a stupid question i only ask to piss you off, because you think Thor and Odin is so far out bullshit you will never accept the premise of the question. I feel the same way about the genesis because of Noahs ark, amongst other things.

oh, and by the way - that title! 'do you hate god' is a way some christians justify that atheists are somehow bad people! Do you hate Odin and Thor, or do you just not believe in them? How can I hate something i dont think exist?

Assumptions in "EndofMysteries'" post that have not been demonstrated:

#1. Atheists have committed some sort of wickedness they should feel guilty for.

#2. Atheists have made some sort of accusations against God.

#3. Atheists have bad thoughts about God.

#4. Atheists believe lies about God

#5 Atheists have not experienced goodness and kindness equal to that of Thor's or Zeus' or (insert God of your choice here)demonstrated goodness.

#6 God is of the male gender.

#7. That is possible to have all these thoughts about a being you do not believe exists.

I am agnostic at the moment. But my leanings are heavily atheistic I suppose.

I believe you can feel hate toward God even if you think he is not there. You are angry at the concept perhaps? I often find myself screaming at my dead brother for not taking proper care of his health. I miss him, though he is no more. He does not exist. I know he does not hear me. I do not expect any action as a result of my venting my frustration. In much the same way, God once existed in my mind. That is probably the only place he ever was. But still at times I feel anger toward that which I once thought I knew.

It is all in our minds anyway isn't it?

In any event, God is clearly not taking notes. Hell he doesn't even notice the Big stuff, like massive tidal waves that kill and displace millions. Why would he keep a diary of my angry words toward him?

The anthropomorphisms that ancient cultures used to define their god(s) are rapidly fading from the modern world. When you read Hawkings description of String Theory you realize we are just scratching the surface of all of the realities.

Atheists don't believe in God. How can you actively hate something you don't believe in? That's like someone saying "I really hate that toothfairy", or "I really hate the Wizard of Oz". You could hate the character within the context of what ever story they appear in, but an Atheist certainly wouldn't feel guilty for speaking or thinking badly of a fictional character.

EOM, I think its more accurate to say that his purported goodness is more then anyone has seen. There is no evidence of that goodness. Sorry.

Btw, I am not an atheist, nor do I hate god.

To Christians Who Hate Science and Reason and Clear Evidence,

Do you feel guilty for your accusations against archaeologists and historians? Why must you accuse people who are only presenting evidence of being servants of Satan? Why do you, in your ignorance, claim that THEY remain in their ignorance?
