Yes, I do. I watched my brother die after losing 40% of his blood in an accident. All the blood that was transfused to him was given out of love and I vowed to do the same.

NO!. I'm afraid of needles I don’t even get injections if I’m injured (e.g. tetanus) if I can convince the doctor otherwise.

Yes, frequently. I was asked to donate platelets because I have a lot or something. I've done that twice now. Takes 90 minutes but they let you pick from a huge DVD collection and watch a movie while you get pumped.

I donate blood, have since I left the jw's and fully believe in the life saving properties of blood transfusions. My youngest son also donates.

(3)It's one more opportunity to give the following to the good old WT

    Bless you, Open mind.

I love how online discussion turns into real life action. Please report back here how your experience of donating blood turns out for you.

    Not unless I get paid,

Most of the blood donated in the UK is sold abroad.

Spawn......so what? If your precious blood saves a life in a country other than yours, it's still a saved life on this planet.
