I think once you discern the utter non-possibility of appointment it pretty much ends any religious/spiritual attachment. From there you start to work on cultural/tradition issues (where I am currently at in my journey out of the WTS-)
While many posters have offered great advice and links I thought I would add the 'WTS_GB_Slave' approved de-programming, de-mything sources-- WTS publications themselves! Here are some useful links to access and download older publications from the eras that founded current beliefs. I personally don't know many who can read through Russell, Rutherford and early Knorr without realizing the utter non-possibility of appointment or even Christian nod by Jehovah or Jesus (actually just the Rutherford period usually is enough).

Chasson has a very nice collection online as well...... the "Golden Ages" are especially mind-blowing....and really helps to dispel the current blood policy that originates from the GAs editor.....medical quackery at it's finest!
