Oh good lord! Well I suppose someone has to! And it could be worse! You could be a chelsea fan or god forbid a spurs supporter.
I suppose you think that goal hanger le tissier should have been picked for england more often!
I thought that the term "scummer" was only what pompey fans refered to you lot as?

That was one thing I never missed a boasting session for: that was what VCRs are for. However, I have missed boasting sessions simply because I didn't feel like being at the Kingdumb Hell.

Here in Okc, OU football is HUGE and the jw's will miss meetings, conventions, it doesn't matter for it, even elders! In fact one year there was a CA being held on an OU game weekend and the assembly was held at this really nice hs auditorium. We were getting the school for two weekends but because one of those weekends was a game weekend, all the people assigned to the game weekend went to the other weekend and ended up breaking the fire code law and we could never get that school again! Which sucked because the school is close but now they have to travel out of town for all the assemblies. I would say OU Football here trumps the orgs schedule!

I have never missed a meeting for a sporting event as I have never participated in one nor do I intend to start now. I have missed a few meetings to sleep through some events that Cantleave wants to watch makes a change to dozing at the kingdom hall.
Cantleave is allowed beer but only if he clears the empties away.
