This bill isn't about healthcare. It is about power and control.

Budgets be damned. Citizen sentiment be damned. The currency be damned. The Constitution be damned. To quote Obama's minister: "God damn America"!

Damn everything except what really matters. Power is not a means to an end. It is an end in itself. That is what is being served in this bill. The greed for power.

This bill isn't about healthcare. No, this bill is about the nearest and dearest thing to every Marxist's heart: it is about redistribution of wealth.

In a prison system where there is a decider deciding which prisoner gets the bread and water in the daily dole of bread and circuses, the doler reigns supreme. And he locks in support and subservience from the very prisoners he keeps behind bars. When you can't eat or drink without the warden's blessing, you are his slave. Stockholm Syndrome.

Get ready people. Not only are the Bush cuts going to expire in the midst of a deep recession, which amounts to a tax hike, and not only does ObamaCare raise taxes as well in the teeth of an economic storm...but VAT is coming. The Redcoats are coming.

Let's see. 0.9% medicare payroll tax increase if you make over $200k/yr. 3.8% capital gains tax increase on investments if you make over $200k/yr. 40% tax on 'cadillac' insurance plans starting in 2018. 10% tax on tanning salon visits.

Balsam I would happily pay more taxes if it means you and yours can get adequate health care. I do wish I had had a choice as to whether my tax dollars would go to subsidize oil companies, abstinence only education, or pay for Haliburton and Blackwater.

( too bad you didn't care over the last eight years of wracking up record debt) The Constitution be damned. (where does the Constitutionality come in)
