If he was, it would be a good explanation for the burning bush story....

That reminds me of this red head I used to know...;)

cameo-d....Hey check out the two time-traveling Renaissance persons in the painting! Not only has this painter divulged the historical truth about Moses being stoned, he has also divulged proof of the historical reality of time travel. Don't you find that exciting? What secrets the Vatican must be hiding!

The anachronisms of both the Time Travelers and the Ark in the background seem to have a meaning I have not investigated yet. If anyone wants to enlarge this painting for details and help to solve these clues....you can enlarge up to 200% by going to www.wga.hu and type in the artists name.

I am also curious as to why the painting is titled "Punishment from the Korah..." It almost sounds like a combination of Koran or Torah.

You don't know the story of Korah?

Maybe Boticelli was the one that was "stoned".

Leolaia: "You don't know the story of Korah?"

No, I don't know that story. Can you tell it without using a lot of those ten dollar words?

    Why aren't Jewish women circumsized?

Why should they be? Are you equating male circumcision with female genital mutilation? Not quite the same, Cammy dear.

Besides, Jews have no desire in preventing their women from enjoying sex. Unlike the Muslims, who do mutilate their women's genitals.

Instead of criticizing Leo, why don't you just get off your ass and buy a ten dollar dictionary?

I have seen reports referring to Moses in that condition in the past.

I recall one documentary that reported that Moses actually was carrying 3 stone tablets down from the mountain. Each had 5 commandments inscribed on it.

However, the evidence suggests that he stumbled (stoned, intoxicated, etc.) and that he dropped one of the tablets and it broke into many pieces.

So when he got to the bottom of the mountain, he only had 2 stone tablets left and thus we have the 10 Commandments, not the 15 as originally written.
