Nugget and I still turn in time despite not attending meetings. Keeps the CO off the elders backs which keeps the elders off ours.

The choice is obviously yours. One option is to not turn in the slips and say that you did not talk about God to anyone or just put 5-7 hours on each slip and more on.

\I turned in time for several years, but did not go to a meeting. I was recently told that I could NOT turn in time unless I went to the hall, per the Circuit Overseer.

I think posters here, myself included, can get a little sloppy with what is fact and what is opinion, conjecture or even slander. That's why I started a "Welcome jordan12" thread. What is the moral difference beween

(a) Just making up numbers and putting them on a report, and

(b) Writing down, say "8 hours" on a report when 6 of those 8 hours were spent riding around in a car doing other peoples' return visits, or sitting in a coffee shop, or hanging around on a corner waiting for "the rest of the group" to finish their houses?

And of the remaining 2 hours, 1:45 was spent knocking on empty houses, and walking between said houses?

In My my country, Czech republic, when JW asked to be acknoweldged by government (in 1993) they were asked by the Ministry of culture (responsible for religion) three simple questions. One them was:

Do JW teach their members are not allowed to accept blood transfusions? Do JW teach a parent should avoid blood transfusion of their child, even in the threat of death?

JW (czech branch coordinators) have answerd: NO, JW DO NOT TEACH THAT.

This was publicly revealed in media and turned to be a big shame and many JW had left because of that.

Sorry Jordan, JW DO LIE.... Just face the facts...

Oh, turning in time... one of the many things I wish would be done away with; this practice makes such liars out of so many a JW!!!

Stun them by showing you've averaged 8 hours of witnessing a day for the last few months. Most witnesses inflate their hours - join the club!

If you don't want to be dishonest and make up a number maybe you could record the number of hours spent here on JWN. You're certainly educating the public about the borg by posting your experiences.

Jordan12, I asked a question, basically, What would you do? If you don't agree with others, sometimes, just posting what you would do and why, in a mannerly non-reproving fashion will add credibelity to your message and will be taken by others in a more positive manner.

My point in saying that is, well, I quit reading what you had to say cause you seemed to be attacking other posters. Though the point you were trying to make was understandable and if presented the right way makes for a good argument. So if you were counseled from the stage, the brothers would say you came off aggressive and therefore lost the respect of your audience.

yup, I'm crazy lol.......and any misspelling's I have is due to the fact I am using a touchy pc.
