Why do you feel that way?
Have you read any books on cult mind control? If not read Stephen Hassans books "Combating Cult Mind Control" and "Releasing the Bonds".
If you still feel the religion maybe the "Truth" read Raymond Franz's "Crisis of Conscience".

Personally, I feel no need to go back to the KH. However, I understand that for some the pull is still strong. You need to examine why you still feel the need to go and work from there.
Welcome to the board, you'll find a wealth of information here

Welcome to JWN, Dnice! I like your username. It's been years since I went to any sort of 'meeting' at a KH. I think my last one (not counting family weddings and funerals) was a Memorial when I was about 15. Let me see now... that's 31 years ago! Woohoo!
I have no desire to go to any meetings associated with JWs. I think that maybe you are missing something in your life and you need to determine what that is. If it's associating with like-minded people, I suggest signing up to a group that interests you (what hobbies or activities do you enjoy?). If you're feeling Spiritually in need, perhaps volunteer at your local homeless shelter, food bank, hospital, or seniors home.

Once I understood that it's an organization of seven millin people actively promoting what is demonstrably not true, I had no desire to go back.

Welcome to the board and nope that desire never hits me.

Scarred for life
No, that desire does not hit me. I still sometimes feel a little nauseated when I go by a KH. Or I feel angry or I feel sorry for the people that go there. But I won't go back into a KH. I have mostly negative memories.
