DNICE- Welcome to the board ! What makes you feel the need to go back ? What is causing you to feel this way after not attending for 4 years ? Please reply back- we'd like to assist you and find out what you are thinking

You may have a social need. Try some other group interest that is mentally stimulating and upbeat, not negative and judgemental like at the KH.
Maybe also you need to start reading good material. Have you read Ray Franz' book, Crisis of Conscience yet? He was a Governing Body member who has left the organization. He speaks of the facts of the history and flip-flops of the organization without resentment, without anger.
Of course, coming here will be mentally stimulating and upbuilding by so many posters and you will be reminded of the reasons why left before. You need to move on and fill up any emptiness. Don't be alone. Be active in something healthful you enjoy.

I second Gayle's advice. CoC saved my life. I never sat foot after reading that book, though it still took some 'work' to heal.

I can't say it is mind control. I do believe that they practice the truth so I would have to say that I feel the need to go but people keep me away.
