Do you want to know the definition of true happiness?

HAPPINESS is... being so free, that the memorial comes and goes and you had no idea you even missed it.

I have to make a note of this day in my journal. Very significant. I think it is safe to say I have moved on with my life.

    Peace to all,

    Dear Justmom,

GOOD for YOU!!!! That was awesome!! After reading your story I was thinking how great it would be if a huge group of "Apostaes" would all go in together, sit together, and partake...passing it on down the line!! There were about 19 of us that left around the same time here..now there is even more! How funny would it be to all go in and partake...they would have no wine or bread left!! LOL!! To see the look on their faces must have been priceless!! Although I must admit I don't have your guts!!

    Sincerely,

    Lady Liberty

This makes no sense to me:

    1) You believe the JWs are doing it wrong because they observe and not partake

    2) If 7million odd of them are all doing it wrong then surely the whole thing is wrong

    3) Why go and partake at something that is wrong?

If you believe point 1 then surely the whole thing is pointless, just have your own celebration or go to a catholic church or something?

This makes no sense to me:

Greetings, dear Zombie... and peace to you!

    1) You believe the JWs are doing it wrong because they observe and not partake

    Yes...

    2) If 7million odd of them are all doing it wrong then surely the whole thing is wrong

    Yes...

    3) Why go and partake at something that is wrong?

Because perhaps one... or even two... of them KNOW it's wrong... and WANT to do what's right... but are afraid... unsure... confused. But perhaps if they know they're not alone... perhaps they will find the COURAGE... to do what they KNOW they SHOULD be doing...

If you believe point 1 then surely the whole thing is pointless,

Perhaps. And perhaps you miss the point...

just have your own celebration or go to a catholic church or something?

First, while it does have it's own hypocrisies and errors to deal with, the Catholic Church doesn't stop people from partaking of the flesh and blood of Christ. True, they tie caveats to it (i.e., "When was your last confession, my son..."), and so "shut up the kingdom of the heavens" in that and other ways...

But we don't do it for us, dear one, but for THEM... the one... or two. True, they might not have got up the courage THIS year... but who knows what NEXT year will bring? Or the one after... or after that... until our Lord returns. And if he doesn't in our life time... so what? What have we expended but a few minutes of our time on behalf of those we love. Regardless of whether they love us... yet.

I hope you understand and, again, peace to you!

    A slave of Christ,

    SA

Many thanks to you AGuestand Justmom . Your courageous stand is impressive and inspirational. The sad experiences of Justmom and her family being 'detained', held outside the KH against their will in the cold, is to say least, very troubling. Asuming Jesus or appostle Paul was inside the KH, how could they have reacted? I grew up in a catholic family and part taking was a regular part of my life until I was recruited to join JW about 20 years ago. Since then, I have lost interest in the entire meaning of the part taking as a result of brainwashing. I feel so grateful for JWN site that we have two courageous and inspirational women anointed part takers yet they are so humble, and full of respect for what is right, people who love God and his ways. Hi Outlaw, indeed, their experiences is of course hilarious but a mockary to the WBTS's policies that limit willing and able christians from part taking to follow what Jesus commanded those who loved him to.

    Thank you alot
