    No,

because I'm too lazy to do that and besides, it's no fun if Purplesofa's not gonna participate!

Sites like Dannyhaszard.com and Six screens of the Watchtower actually put a damper on my exit. They were among the first ex-Witness materials I was exposed to (but thankfully not the VERY first) and it was because of them I actually tried to go back to the organization for a few weeks at first. They confirmed every stereotype of "apostates" the organization put forth. Thankfully the first ex-JW site I was exposed to was not like that, and seeing the sensible stuff first helped me realize eventually that the stereotypes were wrong.

For that reason, I would never picket or protest a Watchtower event. I do realize that the protests probably have more to do with educating the general public about the JWs than helping JWs out of the organization, but I just cannot bring myself to contribute to their siege mentality.

it was bad enough being made into the weird kid at school and being dragged round doorsteps 'picketing' householders with watchtower and awakes when i had no choice.

so i would not choose to assist them now by standing outside a kingdom hall giving them free advertising and raising persecution sympathy or curiosity from passerbyers.

No, I wouldn't. Though, I don't criticize those that do, unless they're yelling, can't stand that.

. I don't think JWs would give the time of day about it. Never know, though, when someone is already questioning things or dissatisfied one could check out signs. Maybe new Bible Study ones would check the signs. But non-JW people going/driving by could see the picketing protestors and see ex-members. If I saw ex-Catholics picketing their church, exScientologists picketing their church, ex-mormons picketing their church. I would not look negatively at them for their protest.

B_Deserter, it's interesting that certain sites that you mentioned turned you off more than anything else. Perhaps those that produce these sites might see that they could be having the opposite effect than they intended.

    It's picketing against Jim Crow.

I walked a picket line in Camden, Alabama, to protest local merchants' practices of refusing to hire Black people.

Some of us were beaten, jailed, and tear-gassed for our efforts.

I will say no more because this is Minimus' thread, and he thinks I'm slow-witted.
