Great stuff Sadly their mentality allows them to dismiss anything published before the current WT publications. Just one question - you approached THEM? Do they not call on you..? Reason I ask is that they refuse to call on me anymore, despite me never requesting this. This past Easter weekend, I watched them in my street - they called next door, then walked AROUND my drive to the house other side of me, completely missing me out. This is the second time I've seen them do this. I must be on a 'list' which is attached to the territory map. I wonder why, lol.

Sure I approached them- you think I'm scared of them?- No-oo, they are scared of us!!.- 4 of them standing in the middle of the street and then 'ol Moshe comes swaggering towards them with his 1924 WT book in his holster- I get within shooting distance and the sisters run for cover, the older Bro faces me and the younger dude hangs back, so as to get out of the line of fire. I dispatched both of them with two paragraphs on two pages of that Way to Paradise book- they limped to the gettaway car and slunk outta Dodge city.
Now, Mid-WC, if I ever saw JW's miss my house, I would just go to the sidewalk and catch up to them and talk to them. if they got nasty with me, I would change tactics and tell them I am going to my neighbors houses, too, to tell them about MY experiences with JW's, false prophecies, blood dogma, shunning and broken homes. I have done that before, and the JW's do get huffy with me, so who cares? (I remind them about free speech), They have never rung more than two doorbells with me tagging along behind them. It is very funny to see them try and give their canned D2D speech and me correcting their presentation, "hey, you forgot to tell them about 1975! or be sure and tell them how they have to be willing to let their kids die, rather than give them a blood transfusion, or would you like to hear about how the JW elders hid my kids from me, in order to keep me from taking them to church?. (The householders have the strangest look on their face-like, what are these crazy people doing on my doorstep?) I had one almost 70 year old elder get so mad, he raised his fist and he wanted to hit me. I told him , go ahead do it, but don't forget that only the meek will inherit the earth. Man I thought his red face was gonna pop a blood vessel- he closed up his book bag and told the sisters they were leaving!. He just died this past winter - he was 89, still a loyal JW to the end.
John, it's too bad more x-JW's don't realize how much power they have. JW's are used to being scared of the elders and that learned experience has to be unlearned after you leave the KH, or you could be hanging your head down when you see JW's for the rest of your life. Once you experience them running away from your facts, you will never be scared of the WT boogeyman again. I know of many ex-JW's who can debate JW's online, but they are too scared to do it at arms length, in person. But somehow they managed as JW's to face down angry householders in the D2D work.

I can remember a time when we would get into debates. I have had partners that would stay and discuss things if there were questions--even I have done it with a Pentecostal attempting to get him into the cancer (after three calls, they decided that it was a waste of my time). These days, all it takes is for a householder to make a simple observation for the witlesses to flee--their religion has become completely undefendable.
I bet there will be more of that when the householders start arguing about what "a generation" really means.

Good job Moshe, but in my case everytime time i deal with witnesses (thru my line of work) never tell them i was a witness for 32 years.
I ask them to show me proof about from the scriptures about the 144k, Jehovah's name in the New Testament, blood issue,living on earth,
torture stake and so on.
These are all subjects that they cannot prove from the new testament. You can nail them all the time.

Moshe - I think the idea of you following the JW's to the door and correcting them is ingenious... as long as it is kept in respectful, non-abusive tones. (Anger and sarcasm would discredit you, if it was me standing in the doorway listening to the debacle.)
I don't know how much this approach could help the older JW's, but some of the younger ones perhaps... and it will at least keep the householder from succumbing without knowing both sides of the coin. This is a much better approach than picketing a kingdom hall.
For those trying to maintain relations with loved ones inside the organization, then this might be more difficult, if not impossible. But kudos to you.

Tammy, being respectful to JW's who try to defend their killing of children and family over blood is hard. I mentioned to this man just before he took off , that a JW woman was 2x more likely to die in childbirth from blood loss than a non-JW- he called me a liar on that one, I told him to go home and Goggle it and see for himself.Now, if I had one of those 3G Netbooks, I could have opened it up and said, let's just Google this together and get to the truth of the matter.
