Tiger Woods is somehow getting tiresome already...

Poor people are sluts who can't keep it in their pants and get saved down at the local church so their wife won't throw their clothes outside the double wide...rich people are sexual addicts who need to check into a rehab so their wives won't divorce them and take half their money.

Speaking of Tiger and Sandra Bullock in the same thread...

Why are so many so willing to forgive Tiger for what he did he did to his wife yet when you compare it to the Jesse James/Sandra Bullock saga, most people are more supportive of Bullock and are throwing James to the wolves?

Did anyone really expect anything different from Jesse James? Really? Just because he married a likable Hollywood actress it was going to change him from what he already was?

But Tiger OTOH was supposed to be this excellent role model... the greatest golfer, disciplined in the game and in his life. He fucks up and after the initial shock all anyone wants to know is, when's he gonna play again? And will he win the Masters? ESPN and CBS are official Tiger whores. They might as well be named in Tiger's book of sluts he's slept with, cause they'll suck his dick if it will get them ratings.

Tiger's getting his ass kissed all the way to the bank while Jesse James is trying to take a page out of the Tiger playbook and check into some kind of faux rehab clinic just to save his star status. I'd rather see James say, "Fuck all ya'll" and go on being the bad boy of the custom motorcyle world.

I completely agree, Gregor. His temper tantrums after poor shots and lack of class stand in stark contrast to guys like Mickelson. TW reverted to borish form following his first two rounds - it seems a tiger can't change its stripes after all. I admire his skills as a player but his poor on course behavior is so obnoxious that I'll root for guys who can show some class when things are going poorly. I used to root for him regardless of his course behavior, but no longer.

I don't know Sandra Bullock from a hole in the ground, but the media has spun her as a "good girl" or person for years and she seems funny and likable on talk shows and in most of her movie roles. She could be molesting collies in private for all I know, though.

Jesse James looks like a Hells Angel and has been divorced twice before and apparently has some "interesting" sexual habits like almost everyone else has but theirs are never discussed in public because it's none of anyones business unless he's raping or molesting someone.

So, it's all about how it's spun in the media, to some extent.

Tiger Woods is pretty good at what he does, but he doesn't project a particularly warm and cuddly image, so it's easier to kick him when he's down. He should have done more puppy hugging in public or whatever it takes to make people think you're a sweetheart. Then he probably wouldn't have been kicked to the curb so hard by the public, who apparently doesn't have enough collective brains to tell when they're being BS'd 99% of the time by the media.

That would make my day. Personally I'd like to see more celebrity types do that. I actually wanted to see Tiger do that too. I don't agree with everything that rappers and the Punk crowd say and do, but I've always respected their F-U attititude toward media and society.

I loved his third-person temper tantrum on that par-3:

    "Tiger Woods - You Idiot.....God D@%MMIT" LOL

I replayed that about 5 times....what an ass!

The thing that makes me so irritated is that Tiger was built by this massive marketing machine, much in the way Michael Jordan was in the 1980's and 1990's by Nike. Everything is so calulated that it all comes off as fake.

Their personal lives are very comparable as well - Jordan was a well-known wandering eye, gambler, and was basically a DB to the fans most of the time, unless the cameras were rolling. I saw him in person many times, and he wouldnt give us kids the time of day. Woods is much the same.

Great, great, great talent as a golfer - but never likable to me.

Tiger woods has no class and always looks like he's having a sulk over something.

I don't know why people are so keen to forgive and forget about his appalling behavior - the only thing he was sorry about was getting caught and losing money.

LOL, why does he owe anybody an apology other than his wife, family, and sponsers? People forget and forgive? Who cares. Seriously, no disrespect toward you, but this comment sounds like something a scorned woman would say. This comment and a couple others leave me with the impression that it upsets some of you that they're not flogging him. Get over it already LOL. I picture some of you storming to your rooms, pouting like, "if nobody else finds this upsetting, well so be it!!", as they slam the door and go to bed. Another thing, how didnt he show class? He answered the reporter's question about his(as in Tiger's game) The question was addressed to Tiger about Tiger!!!

Yawn....Golf is boring, Tiger Woods is boring, and his looks are boring. For the life of me, I can't figure out all this fascination with the same.
