The WTBTS states that the dead are resurrected but don't come to life in respect to over coming their immoral ways and living in harmony with Gods perfect will.
Unfortunately, they're wrong, dear Heathen (the greatest of love and peace to you!). Their teaching is that there is only one resurrection when in fact their are two (the first, those who belong to Christ, just before the start of the 1,000 years... when he returns and gathers his chosen ones - those who died... and those who have not died and so will never die - the second, after (1) the 1,000 years have ended, (2) Satan is loosed and (3) goes out to mislead Gog and Magog... who are (4) destroyed by fire from the Most Holy One of Israel, JAH of Armies, Himself, after which (5) Satan is hurled into the Lake of Fire, after which (6) my Lord turns the kingdom back over to the Father, so that (7) the FATHER sits down on HIS throne... to judge... which is "Judgement Day"... which (8) starts with Him begin given scrolls (plural, as in more than one KIND... two, actually... the Book of Remembrance and Lamb's Book of Life - as well as more than one in number)... and THEN (9) the REST of the dead are brought back... some to life... and some to judgement... based on whether their names are IN the Lamb's Book... so as to have their sins, as recorded in the Book of Remembrance blotted OUT. And there is NO indication as to how long THIS entire process takes.

Another lie. My Lord's rules as king... FOREVER AND EVER. It is his CO-rulership that is limited to "a thousand years". They rule WITH him... "for a thousand years." HIS rulership started in 30CE (no, not 33CE), when he was INSTALLED... and he has been ruling ever since. The ONLY time he does not rule is that period when he turns the kingdom BACK over to the Father... solely for the purpose of judging (because although he has AUTHORITY to judge... he does NOT judge)... after which the Father gives it BACK to him:
“I kept on beholding until there were thrones placed and the Ancient of Days sat down. His clothing was white just like snow, and the hair of his head was like clean wool. His throne was flames of fire; its wheels were a burning fire. There was a stream of fire flowing and going out from before him. There were a thousand thousands that kept ministering to him, and ten thousand times ten thousand that kept standing right before him. The Court took its seat, and there were books that were opened. ... “I kept on beholding in the visions of the night, and, see there! with the clouds of the heavens someone like a son of man happened to be coming; and to the Ancient of Days he gained access, and they brought him up close even before that One. he is the appointed king and in charge of the resurrection it's his choice who gets life and gets everlasting abhorrences.
The first resurrection, yes. The Most Holy One of Israel, JAH of Armies... "the judge of all"... is in charge of the general (second) resurrection.
Personally I think the earth is in really bad shape at the beginning of millenial reign and would need time to be restored to paradise as was before adam and eve.
So, you don't think "a thousand years" will do it, eh? Actually, it won't even take that long... as the PHYSICAL earth will only need to have its "curse" removed. Right? So, that time would not be for the restoration of the PHYSICAL earth. It would be for the restoration of MANKIND... back to being in God's image... rather than Adam's. How is that done? The "separation" of the sheep... from the goats. The sheep are invited into and so become a part of the "holy city." The goats... are cut off. They are not allowed "in" at all.
The continents would have to be connected and the earth back on the same course around the sun to do it.
No, see, that would be necessary if everyone was still flesh with ITS blood. Spirit beings (which is what all will become... when God become "all things to all")... don't need a physical sun:
"And the city has no need of the sun nor of the moon to shine upon it, for the glory of God lighted it up, and its lamp was the Lamb. And the nations will walk by means of its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it. And its gates will not be closed at all by day, for night will not exist there. And they will bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it. But anything not sacred and anyone that carries on a disgusting thing and a lie will in no way enter into it; only those written in the Lamb’s scroll of life [will]. Revelation 21:23-27
That's if the sun doesn't explode.
Not to worry - apparently, there's one inside the earth, too (not that it would make a difference with regard to these things)!
