I used to think of leaving early. At the end I started making excuses to leave (supposedly work related) so that I could just get out of there. I wanted a drink!or two.

I rarely paid alot of attention. I had a whole fantasy world going on, usually rated R or higher.

I used to love watching kids at the meetings passing notes back and forth. I found a page of "notes" written by my 12 year old daughter to her girlfriends.
The notes were all about which boys they liked, what they wanted to do on the weekends, etc.

I thought about how I was going to get my rear end beat if I couldn't answer the questions about the meeting my father would ask me and the siblings on the ride home.
