Tuesday nights (now gone)...Daydreamed about my boyfriend and would call him immediately after the study.

Thursday nights: draw little pictures in the corners of books that when you flip them quickly they look like cartoons in motion.

Sunday: counted and recounted the holes in the ceiling tile or checked out the new recruits.

Had to avoid the belt at all costs growing up. I learned to sit very still and quietly unless I was next to my brothers. Then we just irritated each other and got it when we arrived home.

We couldn't stand each other at the KH if seated next to each other. You know the elbow jab, foot kick, that escalated for 2 solid hours. Have you ever seen two siblings going at it silently never making a sound? Boy could it get nasty. Pinch here, stab there.

I would make plans to leave early or if I could'nt do that I'd work on my weekly budget or grocery list. Got a lot done actually. Oh, I'd also balance my checkbook sometimes.

OMG, I always seemed like I was in rapt attention. But really I never thought of anything, really nothing I just got good at turning my mind off when the song started of course every once in a while I would gaze down at my wife's nylon stockinged leg and my mind would wander but then I would go back to not thinking again.
