If you've never seen Ken Burns' Baseball documentary, it's a must for any baseball fan. The history of the game is awesome (in my opinion).

O.K. Dagney & Dissed- I love you guys as well - but I must admit the love stops once we are on the baseball field ! LOL ! ( Just teasing good naturedly ) The acid test will be this weekend when my S.F. Giants visit your Dodgers at Dodger Stadium . I predict the Giants will win at least 2 out of 3 ! Your guys mat take game 1 Friday night because we have our No.5 starter going. But we are solid in our starting pitching 1 through 4 starters. Our bullpen may be the best in major league baseball right now. You have a slight advantage with hitting - however our hitters have been balls out ( of the stadium ) lately and our new guys Aubrey Huff & DeRosa are solid performers. And need I say anything about our boy Lincecum ?? He is flat out a freak of a pitcher ! Incredible. I'll make you a bet - if my Giants DON'T take 2 out of 3 this weekend from the Dodgers - I'll run around naked and film it at this summers apostafest in Tahoe ! LOL ! Peace out, Mr. Flipper

Born and raised in the Bronx, and actually lived a few blocks from Yankee Stadium, I am a die hard Mets fan, STrangely enough I have been to Yankee Stadium more than I care to remember as a JW during the District Conventions.

RR- I'm sorry to hear the Mets are off to a slow start this year. But it's still early. Keep the faith. I think they are good enough they will be in the hunt in September. It just sucks they are in the east with Philadelphia - those guys are pretty hard to beat. Although I hear Rollins is on the shelf for awhile. We shall see

Any Dodger fans heard Danny Kaye's D-O-D-G-E-R-S (Oh, Really! No, O'Malley)? It's a must have for all Dodgers fans.

Edited to add: Giants fans might have a reason to hear it too, since the song invloves that team. It's throughly enjoyable.

BACK ROOM BILLY- Yeah, I agree. It is only April. As a Giant fan I don't want to get too big for my britches ! Anything can happen , very true. But I'm encouraged by our start. Let's hope the Dodgers owner's divorce doesn't filter stress hormones down into Dodgerland too much ! LOL ! One thing is true- Manram can't roid up anymore - so expect 25 instead of 40 or more homers from him, most probably.

XJW4EVER- I never knew about the Dodger song by Danny Kaye. Must be an older song if it's by him. Wasn't he from the 1950's or something ? Peace out, Mr. Flipper
