I, for one, welcome our new intergalactic space hotdog masters.
For Perry: the most distant known object in the Universe.

There is no need to insult Perry here. I seriously want Perry to answer the question I posed above. There is no evolutionary biology here. There is a simple observation. We see these things. The speed of light is a known quantity. It has been measured over and over and over again.
How is it that we can see these galaxies Perry? If the Universe were only a few thousand years old, they would be invisible.
Yet there they are.
I'd like to know.

Where do they get this idea? Is it in the Bible?
Where are you Perry? I'll come back later in the day.

Maybe it is "evidently" in the Bible for people who want to believe the created earth is only about 6000 years old.
BTW - my parents were Presbyterians before they became JWs, and I never heard before the the Presbyterians believed that...

Appearance of Age: A Young Earth Problem
http://www.godandscience.org/youngearth/appearance.html
The JWs and many other religions have distanced themselves from 'Young Earth' Creationism. Many Fundamentalists still adhere to it.

I thought Perry did not exactly believe in a young earth but instead believed in some sort of gap theory.
