It is my firm (heh heh) belief that the most distant known object in the universe is the lack of common sense in use at the Kingdumb hall.

Sorry couldn't resist. the insistence on stupidly given answers at the WT non study, or tne non book study and any meeting requiring response from the zombies is irritating at the least and incredibly mind numbing.

Wow! I had no idea that Perry was the most distant known object in the Universe.

He seems far out at times but this is mind blowing.

If he has gone home for the weekend it could take him another 13 billion light years to get back. I'm a patient man but...

Don't take this too seriously Perry - I am only a simple gladiator.

According to my Presbyterian friends, God created all things to "appear aged".

So the universe is like a relic'd stratocaster?

BurnTheShips Yet that light took 2 million years to get here.

That's assuming that the speed of light is a fixed constant. Under different conditions it might be a different value.

There are two ways to win.

1.Compete honestly on an even playing field.

2.Cheat by changing the rules or invoking a bad call from a compromised referee.

Things are exactly what they are. Facts speak for themselves.

"Interpreters" of facts cannot win on merit.

Option 2 is the only way to win.

Suddenly a thing is not what it is. It becomes reinterpreted. Definitions change.

Mysticism and Supernaturalism are both superstition.

Facts aren't tied to demonstrable reality and the 5 senses aren't any good to detect "truth" when it comes to belief and superstition.

The "super" in superstition means "beyond". You go beyond the facts, beyond the rules and resort to interpretation based on nothing more than what you desire things to be. This is called "personal revelation". Another word for it is "cheating."

There is only Nature. Nature is what actually exists.

SUPER nature means "beyond" what actually exists.

    We call that "imaginary".
