80% of large corporations go out of Business..
The sizing down of the WBT$ is getting very obvious..
Maybe the WBT$ will tank,in our lifetime..I could live with that..

Well first, don’t you know yet that Jehovah does not deal with or use the Jehovah’s Witness organization? If how they treat each other is any indication of how they match up to the scriptures admonition of “you will know my people by the love they show each other”, well, that pretty much knocks the ball (them) out of the stadium.
The Watchtower has a huge pile of assets, especially real estate, but cash flow is a different story. Contributions just aren't what they used to be.
Is that a fact Metatron? Do you have any evidence to support that? I have no idea what the financial situation is in the US but here in the UK income for the past years is:
2005 £19,744,000
2006 £20,106,000
2007 £26,140,715
2008 £23,584,061
2009 £27,082,527
I do not see any drastic cut in contributions there. (Figures from Charity Commission). Last year was a tough time for many people but it doesn't seem to have made much difference to contributions. It would be interesting to find out if this is a UK trend or if these figures are repeated in other countries.

I have done accounting and handled a lot of stock market investments. If the WBTS was a publically traded stock, people would be screaming 'what the heck is wrong'?
I know that food service at assemblies was canceled because the contributions weren't there. They nearly panicked.
I know that Knorr hated paperback books but they calculated the savings down to pennies per book in the Press Room.
I know that the Society is getting hit with worker's comp and pension related liabilities in the US and Europe ($$).
I know that Account Servants from 'way back can tell you about the huge drop in cash sent to the Society once the voluntary donation arrangement went into effect.
I know that the Society restricted literature requests to institutions like prisons in which they don't really have money to contribute.
They dumped half the Awake issues and cleverly reduced Watchtower printing by separately printing a study issue. You don't do this kind of stuff unless you are forced to do so. Likewise, you don't toss long term Bethelites into the street if you really want any sort of meaningful loyalty ( and there's horror stories about that).
I don't doubt your figures but I would say that their internal costs/liabilities have gone up and they are stuck with cutbacks as a result.

Its just harder for corrupt bogus institutions like the WTS. to operate like they use to, the public
has wizen up as well as the governments where these religious business operate.

The Society already went down "the work is winding down" route in the late 1910s (ya know, at the very time when Jesus picked 'em as his own personal organization); they taught openly that the preaching work was done, that Matthew 24:14 was already fulfilled, and that Armageddon was just a few years away (by 1925, that is). That was not sustainable for an organization built on growth and $$$, particularly if Rutherford wanted to send the troops out to publicize his "Millions" message. The whole purpose of the Cedar Point "Advertise Advertise" talk was so Rutherford could make an about face on this issue.
Does the Society really want to go down the same road? I think they'd think twice if they reflect on their history.
I always beleived that when the work was done we would all just sit back and wait.
i guess if they pulled that one they would have to find some other way to keep them all busy.

Let me toss in yet another 'Mount Carmel Fire From Heaven' test that fizzled. Some years ago, they requested special donations for a new gonzo huge press at Wallkill. They would have to build a special structure to house it. I think the price tag was 50 mill.
Anyhow, some hyperloyal Witless tells me about how 'Jehovah provides' because they got the money for the press by selling the Fulton Street building. I almost laughed. So, the friends didn't come thru, huh? Yah had to pawn the family china to pay for expansion?
