I don't know how I did it for the last 5 years...just didn't know how to leave....but when I decided that was it, no more meetings, no discussions with jws on how wrong they were. But then the only person who mattered to me left stopping going just a couple months later. I had been inactive once before and gone back but without the same enthusiasm, just coasting.

I know this, none of us are mindreaders, or readers of hearts, or know what the other person is dealing with...so we are definitely in no position to judge. My judging days ended when I stopped my association with the WTS. I don't think a person can say they have left the WTS if they continue to judge others in areas that require mindreading. The only person you can judge with any good and accurate result is yourself.

One thing I cannot do is the ministry. I stopped that round a year ago. My meeting attendance is sporadic at best; maintained to keep family relations congenial.

Can't go I just can't do it any more. I also find I have less interest in what the org publishes I no longer care except in how it affects others.

I am finding that the witnesses have less relevance in my life and I think that is a good thing.

I also find that the literature contradicts itself giving me a right headache. Try reading the come be my follower book juxtaposed with the thought that Jesus is only the mediator for the 144,000 and it makes no sense.

    I wouldn't go anywhere else I hate.

I am in that very position and have been so for over a year now. However being raised a JW and I am in my mid 60's, another year or two to leave on my terms is the way it has to be. I have no desire to take up smoking, drugs, booze or even the nice blonde next door. I definitely do not want to lose my wife of more than 40 years or other family members, and just walking away could easily result in that. I am carefully working on my wife and family, how long for the penny to drop there I do not know.

It costs me a couple of hours on a Thursday evening, same on a Sunday and the odd hour going with an Elder on a BS or RV or two once a month or so. I do not like the situation any more than others in my position. If I were single, with no close family, you would not see me for dust!!

EASY - I just set my bullshit deflecters to maximum setting. It is quite entertaining actually - I get a kick out of knowing the DC releases well before anyone else.

Also it is really cool to bullshit a major bullshitter - aka the WTBTS.

So I genearlly record 10 hours 6 return visits 10 magazines. The true number is about 1 hour, ZERO RVS and 2 magazines.

    Good fun realy
