Geez, just head up closer to the Arctic circle...

I've heard about Yellow Knife, and White Horse areas... (or is that Yellow Horse, and White Knife???)

If you run short of meat, you can blast a few mosquitoes out of the air with your shotgun, and eat for a week or two...

Oh, gawd, now I AM worried about you, OUTLAW!!!

I hate guns, but if I was alone in the wilderness and hungry, then Bambi damn well better watch out for me!!!

    (Hmmm... Hate guns... .....)

(Brightening considerably!!!) Well!!! There's always crossbows, English long-bows, Mongolian horse-bows, atl-atls...

Zid - who eats an awful lot of food...

(RAts!!! Wish I had time to dig up a pix of Alfred Packer... )

    Zid..

I`d have no problem doing-in one of the turkeys..

Deer are just such pretty animals..It would be like killing a pet..

    Gun`s are`nt a problem in the wilderness..

Although most of my weapons, are martial arts weapons..

Watch it with the meth zombies, unrecovered hippies, and carnie dropouts all squatting on public lands. It isn't the bears that will kill you out there, it's Wavy Gravy.

I`m closer to civilization right now..I don`t like it as much..

I miss the adventure, freedom and beauty the Wilderness has to offer..

Most people would think where I am,is the middle of nowhere..It`s not..

I`ll be leaving here as soon as I can get another place ready in the Wilderness..

    I don`t belong here..

We are kindred spirits, Outlaw. Only, I don't have the benefit of the vast unpopulated Canadian wilds down here where I live, but I do get a taste from time to time in my area. It's a lot swampier than BC. I am "semi wild" here where I live. I get electric, but that is it.

    Good afternoon Burns..

We have some swamps here, but not like were you live..

Yes,you would probably like it here..

Someone with as much heart as you..

Could most likely learn to survive,in our wilderness..

    AS1......

That doesn't sound too much like living in the wilderness so much as at bit out in the country........

If that is the case...... it is easy..... just settle on how much acreage you feel you need......

For instance my grandparents moved to Wesley (near Brenham) from Barker.......

They are a bit over an hour from Houston, an hour and a half from Austin for 'big shopping', 8 miles from Brenham for smaller Walmart-esque purchases.......but still comfortable nestled on 60 acres surrounded my similar under-develo ag-land.
