I keep tellin' ya, man!!! Just plant some evidence that Granny's stolen money from the WTBTS!! They'll go after her for THAT, for sure!!!
Otherwise, it looks like they don't give a hanging hangnail for the witchcraft stuff...

Interesting ceremony XPeterX! My grandmother was into fortune telling, table levitation, palmistry and tea leave reading and all that kinda stuff. The 'demons' never bothered her when she found 'the truth.' Interestingly enough - they have started to bother her SINCE I pointed out it's not the truth.
The fact of the matter is the WTBTS is NOT interested in truth - it is interested in POWER & CONTROL - all the money they syphon from people helps them in this. The organization itself is not clear of occult practices. You do a little research about them and it becomes obvious why they don't really care.
Russell was into magic, astrology, pyramidolgy, phrenology. Rutherford was into autowriting, astrology, necromancy, and he believed demons who repented can earn their way back by delivering godly messages to humans. They used Johannes Greber's translation of some verses of the bible and he is known to get information from the spirit world. I know a lot of people don't think symbols mean anything but that's like saying our words don't mean anything - they are symbols as well and they have meaning. Symbols are placed in the WT and Awake and on publications for a reason. It's interesting to see what a watchtower stands for in Enochian magic. Sygil magic is another use of symbols. Child abuse is HIGHLY linked to occult activities and there is a LOT of child abuse going on and hidden in this awful cult.
A little off the topic sorry - but you may see why magic is not such a big deal in the big picture. The society itself is not clear of the occult.
All the best!

When a woman gives birth to a child and her daughter has a baby too these 2 women mix their milks and then let it dry. Then the waves of the sea must strike the massive milk remains 40 times. When this happens u put it in your partner's food and it is said that he loves you forever after he eats it.I know all these coz of the tradition. So in order to preserve it you have to keep it in the fridge or in a cool place. To make a long story short my mom found it one day.She told the elders and they didn't do shit.
How exactly is this 'witchcraft'?? It simply sounds like a nutty tradition more than anything 'supernatural'.

So your granny is crafty?! Sounds like a spell to me. I'm pulling for your granny. She's just using a natural gift....better for her able to remember a spell then lose her mind completely to the WTS, Alzhimers or Dementia ...be prepared though...one day she may wanna part your hair with a thunderbolt instead of a comb....or turn water to wine or part the red sea...our brothers from another, were just better at it.....
Come on now, and you already know the deal with the elders......not always fair......

My in-laws are all about "testing" whether someone needs a certain supplement by holding their hand. This in spite of WT articles and talks not to do it.

Can you tell more about old Crete magic practices? I’d like to know, because my ancestors came from Crete.
Also, a great great grandmother was named Marigold on her son’s wedding certificate, but it doesn’t sound Greek. Is that a similar name in Greek that sounded like Marigold?

I don't want her punished BUT the elders should do their job well as they claim that they are to keep the church of Christ clean.

You sound sort of like a total jerk. She is your grandmother and why in the h*ll do you care what she does- she is not harming anyone. A lot of people , even in usa practice new agey type stuff which in some cases involves casting spells. Do some reading about this and quit running to the elders to rat out your nanny.
