Sorry, didn't mean to post twice. In fact, I thought it didn't post at all. Had a lot of trouble with my server just now. Had to reboot to even get to this site. Don't know what the hell happened...sorry....
Thanks Xena..you know I love you too...my "surrogate sister"...

"Love never dies." Voivodul Vlad Draculea (from Bram Stoker's Dracula-1992)
How about we concentrate on discussing ideas, instead of personalities?
What I like to call "Discussion Board Pseudo Interventions", don't work! What is that, you say?? Well, that is when a group of posters decide to gang up on one poster in particular (usually someone outspoken) and try force a change their behavior. As has been shown here, the outcome is usually the opposite of what is desired.

Tatiana,
Thank you for your post; you put it beautifully! You are really something, you know that?
Sincerely, Windrider
In appreciation for all of your words, I'm at a loss for them after reading through those replies, I'm trying to grasp for something to say, but nothing is coming out.

With your permission (and may you all have peace)...
May I suggest (although my suggestions are NOT original, by any means, as you can see...)
Do not hurry yourself to BE offended, for the taking of offense... is what lies with the "stupid" one. Rather, consider all others superior to you, and yourself the "servant". To do this, you must let yourself be wronged. In that light, do not look out for your own interest. Consider the offender's intent and whether it was malicious. And, if the intent WAS malicious... overlook the intent... AND the offense.
I guess I would personally 'sum' all of this up in the illustrious words of my daughter, who, in my opinion, was 'born wise':
"You would want to GET OVER IT."
Let it go, dear ones. WhatEVER it is. The WTBTS... lousy parents... abuse (of ANY kind!)... impossible bosses... unbelievable co-workers... nuisance neighbors... malicious posters... and all of your basic meanies... all-around bad*sses... jerks... and other sundry *ssholes (yes, I said that!).
These folks exist, dear ones... everywhere, everyday, in every culture, of every age and both sexes. So what? Taking offense, being offended, and holding grudges won't add ONE cubit to YOUR lifespan. To the contrary, it can actually take away a cubit... or several. Even your life! Ask anybody whose suffered a heart attack/stroke... due to stress related to relationships with "toxic" people.
You don't HAVE to stress, though. And... you can STILL have relationships. You just have to set the 'terms'. What terms? Love. Pure and simple. If others can 'receive' it, they will. And if they can't... THEY... will extract themselves from YOUR life. For light... and darkness... cannot exist together for too long a time. They are enemies.
Hatred tears down, dear ones, and stress kills. Therefore... let... it... go.
Build up... and live... by means of love.
Peace to you!
A slave of Christ,

Tatiana,
To have your attitude after all you have been through is a true testament to your character. After hearing your story I admire you.

Tatiana,
I was reading some of your recent posts just now to see who might have offended you. I couldn't see any mean-spirited posts right out but I am hoping you aren't referring to my comments on the ebonics homework. I am really sorry if anything I said offended you; it really wasn't my intention whatsoever and I tried to make it clear later that I absolutely didn't feel you were prejudiced or starting anything.
If you were referring to something or someone else, my apology still stands. Making a point is not as important as making a friend.
Take care.
Let's see now. Shall we ponder the human condition. Perhaps best express amongst us is that we are in transition in one of the episodes of life.
If I view it creatively, it is ugly in its process, with the eventually of being beautiful as an end result.
What is beautiful is an identity of our very nature. Our very nature is dependent upon... formed by...
