And not saying turning in time in the bible? ARe you guys THAT retarded? It doesn´t say ALOT of things in the Bible. Lord have mercy the minds here are SO low class thinkers. It doesn´t say to wear suits, have TV´s, have internet in the Bible yet ALL of you do right? But you gripe about time being handed in?

my reply: thanks for admitting that the WT demand that its members hand in a time report of their field service hours and placements has no Biblical basis.

Yeah so? What is your point? Not EVERYTHING you do is based on the Bible. It doesn´t say take showers either but I still do. So WHAT is your point?

The org uses a field service report as a barometer to one's spirituality.

Not so. There are many factors to consider. If one does a good job at work, is always on time, always does what you ask...Shouldn´t you want to promote him? Why? Because he is showing himself to be a good employee. So if a person is commenting at the meetings, doing field service, being a nice person etc. and is on time at the meetings he is TOO showing himself to be a good christian.

I don´t see how this is a huge deal for you.

So I will reply to posts 24 hours from now...I think this is the only forum in the WORLD which has that restriction by the way...

My reply: You mentioned 4 points..only one of which has anything to do with a person's character and is biblically based. Your other 3 points tell nothing of the person except how devoted he is to the org.

    False analogy, Bane.

No person or organization of people should take it upon themselves to track the progress of another's spirituality.

That is exactly what happens with field service reporting.

Near the end of her attending meetings Mrs Covenant was asked why she was no longer putting in a field service report by her Group Study Conductor as he was trying to get the time slips in.

    Her reply:

''I am not a blind bit interested in saving lives''

He was a little shocked and said 'Oh ok then''.

What if that person decided to not turn in his time, even if he did share in preaching work, whether formally or informally?

    I'll tell what...

No matter how much he answers at meetings, no matter how many elderly people he helped, no matter how nice he was, if he didn't turn in a slip for 2 or 3 months, he would be marked as "irregular" and if he went 6 months without turning in a slip he would be listed as "inactive".

The field service report is the measure of one's spirituality...period.
