How about telling us a Translation YOU 'think' is more accurate?

theMadJW I've critically studied translations for over 30 years, and by saying that you show you have done VERY little!

Clearly you have been studying with the wrong people

    Blessings,

1 Cor 1:10- Now I beseech you, brethren, by the names of our Trinity Lords , that ye all speak according to your own opinions and interpretations, and that there be plenty of divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly happy believing whatever you want! This is the will of the Gods! - RCV

It is easy to name the one that is least accurate.

    NWT

I think you will find the ESV is highly accurate.

No doubt your "thirty years experience" will surpass the 100 member translation team

    Good one Stephen.

He still never answered the I AM question. How is it that ego eimi [I am] could possibly be translated as I have been. Every single other translation in the NWT translates ego eimi as [I am] except when the Jews wanted to stone Jesus for blasphemy.

This is the one question that I have asked Plankton that he keeps ignoring. Why Plankton, why?

And why do you keep this stupid thread going. Come on kid, get a f------ life will ya?

but 1st answer the question 'cuz ego eimi getting bored' which is accurately translated as 'because I am getting bored'

    Sorry, Chalam!

Just STARTING to browse that Bible reveals the partiality and the dishonesty:

Gen 2: 7- then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature.- ESV

Not only do they, as usual, replace whatever YOU think God's Name should be, with the ambiguous "LORD", but they hide the word "soul" (Hebrew nephesh) from view, replacing it with "creature", as most modern translations do.

They know church goers will buy translations that hide such facts!

TT- You're an idiot. How many times do I need to repeat it; check ANY Interlinear (there are some online), and you will quickly see the same phrase used that way by Peter and Paul- and they don't put it in caps to mislead churchoids into thinking they are God- using a Symbolic HEBREW Name that was used only ONCE!

    theMadJW Sorry, Chalam!

Just STARTING to browse that Bible reveals the partiality and the dishonesty:

    Gen 2: 7

The NWT displays partiality and dishonesty come the second verse!

    NWT Genesis 1:1-31

1 In [the] beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

2 Now the earth proved to be formless and waste and there was darkness upon the surface of [the] watery deep; and God’s active force was moving to and fro over the surface of the waters.

I asked you once before but without reply. Maybe you could explain where they get the words "active" or "force" from the original Hebrew text?

    Blessings,

    Stephen

    I TOLD you before!

u-ruach elohim = wind, breath of god

    NOT a Nameless Holy-Ghost God.

Wind, and breath are unseen (Usually) forces that are...ACTIVE, not STAGNANT!
