Other "Christian" religions scare people with their burn in a fiery hell forever belief, if you are not good.
Jehovah's Witnesses teach EVERYONE is going to DIE, and it is your responsibility to preach to everyone you come across, otherwise you will be held blood guilty by God. lol
With Jehovah's Witnesses, you HAVE to get baptized, then you become, (it used to be, an immediate God ordained, Minister, yes, even the 10 year old's were considered ordained) worthy to be considered a righteous person, with a reward of NEVER DYING, but living on this earth forever, in a beautiful paradise, with all your resurrected loved ones.
You must push their beliefs and books, at least 1 (one) hour each month and at least showing up at your local Kingdom Hall, every other week.
If you do this, you are not really considered "good enough" but you "might" pass. lol
WatchTower , makes it seem like it is your personal responsibility, to put YOUR LIFE on hold, all of your desires, and push those books.
I too was raised with this book.
Reading this book, or worse yet as a toddler having this book read to you, puts a possible crack in our youthful spirit for life.
Some children born in first world country's, are born with the belief, anything wonderful can happen to them.
They can dream a dream, and take the steps in life, to see those dreams, come true.
JW children get fear put into them, worse than other "Christian" religions.
Other children interact at neighborhood Birthday parties, Little League, Brownies, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, bottle drives, after school activities.
JW children are forbidden all of that association, all of that interaction, all of the give and take in developing a good, rounded personality.
WatchTower children are taught that those children, doing those "worldly activities" are doing "bad things" and will die at God's hand.
JW children are scared and confused.
WatchTower literature and it's religion is abusive, to all innocent, non-thinking people, of any age.
