If I remember correctly that book wasn't suppose to be for kids orignally!

I had three different writers and was bunched together in a hurry........

Oh well, it was my 1st JW book, so I have a special place in my heart for it I love those dinosaurs and sea-monsters. The purple picture was the worst but it prepared me for that awful pic of the flood in the MBOB. (did anyone else use the Read/Write?)

If anybody wants it in PDF.......

the memory of those images is just as clear now as I remember them as a kid almost 40 years ago, the bruising of the heel, the long narrow river where folks are living in a utopia, those images of the huge cracks that open up and the terror on peoples faces and the high tec building of smiling folks walking towards their brand new shiny KH I always wished we could have a hall like that as ours was a khazi. The powerful images petrified me as a kid yet I loved that book.

Thanks for this pic!!.. Some of these guys in this picture are studio actors posing for the shot. Look at the guy with the glasses on his chin. Look at his right hand - His right hand is placed against the ground in supportive tension, not what you woul expect of a dead person. Oh what else?? the guy with the gun and the girl running away on the far right of the pic are the same persons found in a picture in the sept 15, 2010 Watchtower. Seems the art dept does alot of copy and paste these days

The pic that Outlaw posted... and again in the post above mine...

Look at the building in the background... it looks eerily like the pics of the remains of the WTC after 9/11.

No conspiracy theory, just spooky is all. And depicting these types of scenes in WT literture post 9/11 isn't going to win the WTS/JWs any supporters, especially in the NY area. It brings back too many vivid memories associated with the events of that day.

My favorite picture from that book was the bannana tree drawn wrong. (Which was fixed in later editions)

I remember that book very well. I wish I still had one, just to remember how crazy it was to have kids read.

I remember getting in trouble for pointing out the artist drew Adam wrong because he gave them a belly button.

I think that book was published as an aid to help people,

like Southeast Asians, understand the Bible's content from

    Genesis to Revelation.

I remember well the orange Paradise book. And I remeber the earth opening up and swallowing the people.

I remember when I was about 7 I had a panic attack because I thought the big A was here and my parents had

a hard time calming me down. We were on vacation in Florida and there were all kinds of sirens there must have been a big

fire or accident plus there were air raids going off. Back in the 60's with the cubans missle crisis and air raids

and the paradise book that was a lot of anxiety for a little kid to process.

Being raised as a witness in the 60's was child abuse.
