You just described the character of this discussion board very well because you can say that about anyone who posts family related issues as people do it all the time. Are you willing to say they are all possibly figments of a warped imagination (because there are some warped scenarios)? I can quickly generate list. Answer honestly or be labeled a pathetic liar.
I see where you are going with this. I understand that there are a lot of people posting about family related issues and sometimes they do seem rather extreme. Well, all we can do is take their word for it knowing full well that we are only getting one side of it.
So is that letter of yours genuine?

You're absolutely right Alice. People can post all kinds of nonsense on here. So my question to you is: Did you really write that smug, pathetic, judgemental to your aunt, or is it all made up?

The difference, Alice, is that even if we think someone's story is not completely kosher......so what? Are you gonna continue to police this board, and call out every person who posts their story here and call them all liars?? For what end??
We're all big people here. We've all lived long enough to know that there are 2 sides to every story. But you know what?? It's not my place to judge anyone else. And no matter what your tiny, narcissistic brain tells you - it's not your place either. If I think I can add something to help others, I do. If I don't think I can help them, I just shut up.

You know, Alice, if you just changed the "a" to a "c" in the title of this thread, your letter would make more sense. Re-read it that way. Here, I'll even do some WT-style quote mining to make it clearer. For example, you refer to the subject of your letter as...
- "callous and desensitized"
- "hollow" (haha)
- "emotionally deficient"
- "your [correction: you're] grossly immoral"
- "of no use to me"
Kidding aside, you label your aunt as "hollow and emotionally deficient" in the very same email in which you state that YOU will just "write her off" and that she's "of no use to me"? May I take some liberties and "parodize" this?
You: Dear Auntie, you're hollow and emotionally deficient. Because you're such a whore, I'm going to write you off. You're of no use to me.
Dictionary: "Hollow" means devoid of significance or point. "Emotionally deficient" means lacking a normal degree emotions.
