yup min a good 10 years down the drain cos i'd already been dfd a good 5 years before he was.

I was just thinking though that in one way it is more honourable and honest then those that would shun until it was their child or refuse to go to the funeral of one who committed suicide until it was their family or make a big deal about supporting the efforts of a union action til it affected them or (fill in the blanks __________)

booby, i always had more respect for my dad cutting me dead cos at least he didnt play the jw pick and drop as and when it suited thing, which i found far more toxic in the long run.

Keep in mind many who are df'ed are still laboring under the misconception that it really is Da Troof and whatever horrible sin they committed (most likely completely consensual sex between two adults) is worthy of shunning.
