So sorry, BTS!

When my boyfriend was younger, he watched his mom back up over his dog with her van. He was so traumatized over it that he can't have a pet dog anymore. He had to convert to being a cat owner.

That's very sad, we have a similar dog and would be devastated if we lost her so know how you must be feeling

I'm sorry to hear it, burns. Dogs really are part of our families, losing them is painful.

So sorry for your loss BTS. I have a 2 yr old Maltese. We love her to death. Just reading about it made me feel sick with sadness.

This morning, my wife saw me pull back up to the drive, and she saw the dog.

She started crying. I didn't I was just numb and angry, plus, I had an appointment I had to make.

She was puzzled by my reaction, I just brushed her off and said "I refuse to cry over an animal. It is irrational."

Please extend my sincerest condolences to your wife and son.

Burn, I'm so sorry to hear this awful thing that happened. I never had a dog until I was 40 years old but I finally caved in to my wife and kids and we got a 3 year old labrador bitch from a rescue home in 2004. God they find a place in your affections don't they?!
