Night Owl, you haven't gone thru the things that many on this board have. In terms of experience with the Watchtower Society, you're still a "babe in the woods" compared to many of these peoples' life experiences...

People like Lady Lee, Blondie, Jamie Bowers, Moshe, Undercover, and many more, have a combined experience between them of practically every issue that could arise within the Organization...

Can you honestly say that you personally have experienced EVERY issue that arose???

And, unless you're an accredited psychiatrist or psychologist with [at the very least] a Master's degree, which is highly unlikely given the Watchtower Society's antipathy towards higher education, you really AREN'T in a position to "help people DEAL with their situations..."

what you are trying to do, but people need to be allowed

to vent, grieve, and be heard, this is a part of the healing

process for many. for some it may take longer, we have

to allow them that. even if we think enough is enough

i ain't through myself, and i'm not ready for someone else

Night Owl not a good idea to invalidate the painful experiences of many posters on this board by assuming they are driven by resentment. You'll lose most of your audience by taking such a subtly judgemental stance.

Your well-intentioned words would mean more if you acknowledged that the resentment corner is very crowded by all sorts of human beings, including as it does a fair number of active Jehovah's Witnesses.

Night Owl... I do NOT resent them or you....I have had a support group for over 700
for over 26 yrs now.... It costs money, time, & heart ache to see what the false prophet
has done to so many good people. I LOVE J.W's,but I also love those the WT stole from me. I am 83

don't expect to ever cuddle them again ....I am glad you think by teaching us we should "Get over it"
I guess the training you recieved as a MS servant is hard to get over. We even let you hold the microphone

They taught me I was TOO direct...I guess they were right in that teaching..
I feel for Night Owl...But it irks me to see he thinks we have "failed'..
Just sit in on a group of ex JWS Or read the BOOK "JIM" By June Caldwell.
