My husband also thought it was boring. He didn't mind it, but said it was too long. I just didn't want it to end. My kids - 11 and 8 - sat through it at the theater twice, enthralled, and we've watched it a couple times at home. Mind you, neither of them has seen Dances with Wolves :)

I haven't seen the movie yet, but I'll get to it eventually. I do 3D modeling and animation as a hobby, and frequent a lot of 3D forums. The general consensus on those forums is that the CGI was great but the story wasn't.
