Wrong question. The right question is "what proves that Jehovah's Witnesses are the right religion?

Jehovah's Witnesses claim to be the one-and-only right religion. The burden of proof is always on the ones making the claim.

    They can't do it.

    Case closed.

Well, that depends on what the meanings of "are" are.

    Huh?

streets76, I know I should have edited from "are" to "is". Excuse me, my english is not always that great since I am myself deaf since birth.

(Note to self: Quit being such an asshole, nobody here is impressed by your witless sarcasm.)

Very close shade of meaning to Farkel " claim to be the one-and-only right religion !"

So then all the concepts within the religion must walk in lock step with it.. anointed ,GB , blood prohibition, time keeping, limiting education

dividing one from family and the normal pleasure's enjoyed by other, taking away true love and inner peace , self-confidence

seeing all other religions as false .. everything that makes them unique becomes a judgment against others !

When a religion consistantly considers it's own teachings and literature from 30 years ago to be incorrect and apostate, and yet the source they claim to rely on - the bible - hasn't changed, then we can make a fair guess that whatever they are teaching NOW will be considred incorrect and apostate 30 years from now.

Great point! I can remember back in the 1960s we were told to get rid of all literature written by Russell and Rutherford as many of the old teachings were incorrect and misleading and we now had 'New Light'. Well, guess what, much of the 'New Light' we were taught back in the '60s, and even as recent as the '90s, is now - wait for it - incorrect and misleading as we now have 'New Light'. Anyone holding on to the old teachings being branded apostates.

I wonder what the 'New Light' will be in 2030 when the brothers are told to disregard many of this decade's teachings for being incorrect and apostate
