Good question, dear OTWO (peace to you!). I would have to say what I read in the Bible vs. what I read in the WT (i.e., what the WT often SAID the Bible "said"... yet, when you looked it up there was absolutely no correlation. For example, the use of 2 Corinthians 6:14 to pretty much condemn physical marriage outside of their organization... when there is nothing in the entire letter on the subject of physical marriage at all).
I don't mean to say the Bible is without error. Rather, I am speaking of those instances where the WT literally referred to a Bible verse to support it's position... yet, a look at the verse showed it had absolutely nothing to do with the subject at all. I was always told that "it must be a typo," or something like that. Because I understood human error, I accepted that explanation. Way too many times, though.
Again, I bid you peace.

That they would tell me that I cannot listen to Journey music. I found nothing too wrong, even by their standards, with most Journey music. The dingbat dragging me into the cancer had something against Journey and used that to try and ban me from listening to it. Yet, when I found two of the Kingdumb Maladies to be offensive (because I was pretending to be Jehovah himself while singing them), the dingbat insisted on continuing to use those two songs.
If I have to destroy recordings because they offend that dingbat, yet they continue using blasphemous material to worship, how in hell can it really be the truth?

When i was 7 years old and out on calls with my mom ''cloversprout'' and beansprout...There was a ''sister'' who cloversprout used to take out on calls on a saturday...She was old and not very nice...We had been out all morning and it was past lunchtime...Cloversprout was trying soo hard to get her out the car and kept telling this ''sister'' that beansprout and i needed our lunch...I was moaning that i was hungry and thirsty and this ''sister'' turned around to look in the back of the car and told me with all the venom she could muster that ''God is going to kill you at armageddon, you are going to burn''...All because i was hungry and thirsty! I never spoke to that ''sister'' again...

I should have known better simply from....
1) the fact that my great grandparents had died faithful, my grandparents were told not to have kids in this system and my parents were told their kids would never go to school in this system.
2) seeing my parents beam with pride that their children entered full time/special full time service yet they never did. In fact during a CO's visit one evening he asked how many in the congregation had the desire to pioneer. Well my parents looked over at us waiting for our hands to go up. And I remember wondering why they weren't raising theirs.
Thanks OTWO - kicking myself all over again today... LOL

When three egocentric elders ganged up on a troubled teen,a close friend of mine, and decided in an instant I should shun her. They wanted to make an example out of her. She was just a messed up kid. I so get that looking back now. It's just so stupid. Two of those elders were removed. One got his position back. But, they are all still cocky jerks.
