It also comments on changes in the new song book, they probably read this website!

For the past 25 years, Jehovah’s
Witnesses in many lands have enjoyed using
the songbook entitled Sing Praises to Jehovah.
In the years since that bookwas first
published, the light has been getting brighter
on a number of topics, and some of the
expressions used in that songbook have become
outdated. For example, we no longer
speak of “the new order” but of “the new
    world.”

we just had a elder do an experience on the ASSembly.

he was talking about how he is sorry for all the "wrongs" he has done in the past, and is turning a new leash (he was removed at one time and re-appointed recently).

what he forgot to tell the people in the audience was that he swindled many brothers and has not paid those brothers back (he has reneghed his debts). he lives high on the hog and those people (from a diffrent congregation) are jackshiiite out of their money

I can't do any more posts, but THIS IS CHILLING........the last article bout singing praises, they seem to be INTENTIONALLY TRYING TO BRAINWASH/MIND CONTROL,,,,,

For the past 25 years, Jehovah’s
Witnesses in many lands have enjoyed using
the songbook entitled Sing Praises to Jehovah.
In the years since that bookwas first
published, the light has been getting brighter
on a number of topics, and some of the
expressions used in that songbook have become
outdated. For example, we no longer
speak of “the new order” but of “the new
    world.”

For that and other reasons, the Governing
Body approved the publication of a
new songbook entitled Sing to Jehovah. The
number of songs in our new book has been
reduced to 135. Because there are fewer
songs to learn, it should be possible for us to
    memorize the lyrics
of at least some of the
    new songs.

    Listen to them
    often
; in that way you will soon learn the
lyrics of at least some of our new songs.
The lyrics of many of the songs have
been composed in such a way that
when you sing one line, you will almost
    be able to anticipate what
    comes next.
    So when you play the
CDs, why not try to sing along
with the chorus? If you getwellacquainted
    with the lyrics and
the music at home, you will no
doubt be able to sing out more confidently
    at the Kingdom Hall.

(ALL THAT GAVE ME CHILLS, I WAS THE ONE WHO WAS REALLY SHOWING THE LYRIC CHANGES, AND ADDING MORE FOLLOW FAITHFUL SLAVE, ETC, WHEN BOOK CAME OUT. KNOWING HOW HYPNOSIS WORKS, AND HOW THEY WANT EVERYONE TO MEMORIZE THE SONGS, AND HOW THEY ARE MADE IN A WAY TO GET INTO YOUR HEAD, THEY ENGINEERED THESE SONGS!!)

So, a whole summary of the Dec 15 WT, is......establish worship and full will surrender to the GB to be judged good in great tribulation time, and then their latest command, memorize the lyrics of their new song book which was designed for mind control. THE PICTURES of the magazine ask if you allowing your children to leave during the songs (so they will comment on making the kids stick to it), then another picture asking, "if they are memorize the lyrics at home". I GUARANTEE the elders been given instructions to ask audience to comment on those pictures during that meeting.

    Listen to that sxxx?

Perhaps there is a good reason why people do not learn the new Kingdumb maladies. They can say that the lyrics are intuitive all they want. If they are not in fact intuitive, their claiming otherwise isn't going to do jack squat. And, if they sound like dying cats or cult chants, people are not going to want to listen to them. If they want people to learn the lyrics, they might have been well to try putting out quality songs.

How many people have difficulty learning the lyrics of well written, well performed music of their liking? Maybe if they would quit telling people that it "should" be their favorite music and put the time and effort in writing good songs, they would have more people listening to them for enjoyment, and singing to them for enjoyment. It is not worth dorkhood to attempt to sing these songs if you are going to sound like dying cats or a cult chant.

The sad thing is that the GB probably believe this stuff too and don't realize they are really praising themselves.

Did anyone catch this quote on page 19:

If you desire Jehovah's blessing, "keep listening" to his voice. Then his blessings "must come upon you and overtake you." What, though, does "listening" involve? Listening certainly includes taking to heart what is said in God's Word and the spiritual food that he provides. (Matt. 24:45)

This is a somewhat subtle, but bold restatement of what was said in the Sept. 15th WT: Watchtower literature is provided by God himself. Failure to listen to the Watchtower is failure to listen to the voice of God, since God 'evidently' provided the Watchtower. Watchtower literature has equal and/or greater authority than scripture to JWs. With such bold statements, can any JW deny this? It may as well be their own 'latter-day scriptures', as it is far more than mere instructive commentary; it directly adds to the Bible and provides information that otherwise would be unknown.

Sept. 15, 2010 WT, page 8, which seriously elevates them to demigod status:

We cannot hope to acquire a good relationship with Jehovah if we ignore those whom Jesus has appointed to care for his belongings. Without the assistance of "the faithful and discreet slave", we would neither understand the full import of what we read in God's Word nor know how to apply it.

And again, Sept. 15, 2010 WT, page 13:

The Governing Body publishes spiritually encouraging literature in many languages. This spiritual food is based on God's Word. Thus, what is taught is not from men but from Jehovah.

Were they doing this before, this often, every few months, and I just didn't notice then? This is some pretty bold stuff. It seems like there is a specific tightening of the noose going on here. Hopefully, it will result in more people waking up.

Thanks EOM, for breaking this down. I never know what's in the current magazines, unless somebody does a recap on here.

Funny stuff. Amazing that we ever believed that stuff.

no sd-7, they are getting more and more blatant. i cannot imagine what is next, that "Jesus was submissive to the faithful slave and so should we"? lol

we are a couple steps away from having Jehovah submit to the faithful slave.

Hey, it's the December issue. Just think of it as the GBs Christmas present to the sheeples!

I don't know... the hypocrisy here is a little TOO obvious... makes me wonder if the writer is actually intentionally mocking the GB/FDS in print...
