Congratulations on your plan and your freedom announcement upcoming.

You don't have to smoke something if you don't want to. Just clink your glass and make a toast, then mention birthdays and upcoming holidays and wish everyone good luck on something or other. Wave the country flag and sing a patriotic or gospel song. Talk about politics and evolution and say how great it will be for your kids to get a real education and maybe even play sports in school if they want to.

Soldier, I wish the term "thoughtcrime" was mine but it belongs to George Orwell for his 1949 novel Nineteen Eighty-Four. It is an oustanding parallel to the WT Society, even coining the term "thought police." Check it out.

(I say this and yet I've never actually completed it. It's on my To Do list.)

It always warms the cockleshells of my heart to see folks who look forward to getting disfellowshiped, and who look upon it as a favor rather than some sort of branded scarlet letter. It shows that the WT Printing Corporation has lost its powerful emotional grip and its ability to blackmail them into cowardly submission.
