I'm performing in Novato this Saturday, Mark (and others - peace to you all!), if you're interested. If so, PM me and I'll give you the venue info. I'll even buy you a glass of... milk, wine, soda, beer... if you show up! No pressure, though - just a friendly invitation to get come and get out of the house!

    Again, peace!

    SA, on her own...

Oh, sorry - I sing a little. Torch (a lot)... standards (a little)... a few Beatles "slow" stuff (Yesterday, All My Love, Something...). I'm okay... nothing to write home about. But if you want to get out, have a beer (or two)...

    Peace!

Hey, is there anyone here who is (or has been) a member of the Brentwood/Oakley/Discovery Bay Congregations?

I could use some help in regards to a JW I have been encountering.

    Mark,

Sunnyale, & Cupertino, Is where I'm at. Long time no see, what's it been 8 or 9 years?

    Aguest,

Would have loved to hear you sing,, I'm into music, blues, & rock&roll mostly if it's got a good beat and the rythym is tight and I play a little maybe next week of something? That may not be your bag but would love to hear your voice on some of that slow movin stuff.

Sacto now. Spent 35 years in San Diego, though. Love San Diego. Tolerate Sacto. It beats Los Angeles, however. Of course, hell beats Los Angeles.

I've lived in California since early 1967, but I rarely hear people call it "Cali" except people not from California or people who have only lived in California for a relatively short time. I've certainly never called it that. In fact, I never heard it called that until about 5 years ago. Then again, when I made this comment in here in the past, some people who were natives here said that's what they called it, so who knows?

People from San Francisco NEVER call it "Frisco" and people from San Diego NEVER called it "Diego." Ever hear anyone say, "I live in Cali. I'm from Angeles?" I certainly haven't.

Not trying to stir the pot, just making a personal observation.

Farkel, Visiting Friends soon in OreGONE CLASS
