Dear SA, (and I do mean the "Dear" sincerely as a fellow Christian)
"I cannot tell you the prayers... and tears... that I have undergone during this time"
I believe you but the problem, imo, is that most here have at one time also prayed with tears and much suffering trying to understand why it is that men who claimed to be anointed and who claimed to be followers of Christ were in fact not what they claimed but insisted that we believe they were. They tore us to pieces, they stumbled us, they tore from us our trust in God and the Bible. We too have suffered with many tears! I, like many here, will never trust another man or woman with my faith and beliefs again. Never! I trust the Christ. I trust God. No man, no woman. And when a man or woman claims to speak for the Christ there is an instant revulsion in my heart and a red flag that goes up, something like being exposed to an allergen that has sensitized my religious immune system.
You said above, " Again, I bid you the GREATEST of love and peace, and I AM..." (emphasis mine)
Lady Lee is right, if we disagree with you better it is not to open your threads. To open your threads is for me the same as an abused woman who opened the threads of a man who claimed that some women need a little abuse now and then to keep them in line. Better to leave it alone and pass it by than to open the thing and live again the hurt that I am trying to recover from. The hurt that came from religious leaders who insisted that they sincerely represented God and Christ.
You are, I AM? Then I wish you peace and the love of God upon you.
I ask this one favor of you, do not respond to this post. I love you as a fellow Christian and do hope all that you yourself hope for in Christ will come to pass. Please, I ask, do not respond to this post. Let peace reign between you and me in silence. In this way I will know that you are truly my sister who loves.
