I would like to put up a link for the new WT elder's Flock book- and substitute 1946 pages of Moby Dick instead for them to download. The great WT whale will go down, if enough ex-Jws get off their fader-doormats and publicly speak out about WT abuses.
Is the WT going to move on this leak?

Lady Lee said "The complained to the DMCA about websites with links to the book."
The DMCA is a law in the United States. It is not an organisation and no one can complain to it.
What they did was send out a DMCA takedown notification. This requires sites hosting the material to remove the file. Although in law it is only valid if the servers hosting the files are situated inside the United States, most sites will respect the DMCA notice.
Although they complained to Simon about the links, since the files were not hosted on his site the DMCA notification did not strictly apply, but it is always wise to avoid conflict and Simon decided to remove the links to err on the side of caution. This is his site, and he can set the rules.
The book is copyrighted. That means the WT has the legal right to demand that it is not made available online.

I'm in agreement with IsaacCaustin. This book is just an ego thing to make the elder's "feel special". I don't see anything in it of real importance or of any help to those who are trapped. Any importance you give it is basically an illusion and playing up to their idea of "specialness" and "secrets". I didn't see anything worth being called special or secret.

They could do the same thing they did when the pio-sneer requirements were scheduled to be lowered to 35/50 from 50/70 hours a month for aux/regular. They could simply cancel the whole thing. Then they would have to waste the time to write another, and hopefully that one would also be posted online.
