Probably been a good year and a half for me, pretty much coincides with when I was DFd....

I have no doubt that I could spout off with a "wonderful" prayer full of JWisms like "thanks for the faithful slave" with five seconds notice. That hard wiring is probably going to take a decade to erase.

The last time I had to say a damn prayer to go out in field circus--I believe it was in early 2005. And I really didn't want to do it--I simply wanted to pray to Satan "Dear Satan, please bring intense persecution in the form of householders not being interested, zero results, and people leaving the religion for no reason. And please curse those running the religion so they will not be able to keep it together, and they will waste all their resources and go belly up."

Sometimes when I am on my bed before I go to sleep. It helps me to sleep good, thats all. All of the prayers are very short.

i have made it habit, when deeply concerned
for one of my kids' well-being and safety or
when moved by autumnal splendour or aghast
(once again) at human cruelty or stupidity, or
any time of strongly felt emotions to say something
about it aloud and with intention "release it to the
universe".... if there IS a god or gods or higher
powers, she/they will get the message....
