Totally weird picture no question. leolaia's comment about the hands is interesting too, especially the left one. Also does anyone get the impression that da judge would have a library like that. Unless of course just to impress others. From the shite attributed to him as far as editorial content i would not expect to see the array of books. And what the hell is the tome in front of him. Not millions now living will/may not die!

That version above looks more original and has better quality than the first one posted (still not very good). But when you raise the contrast and gamma, look at what happens to Rutherford's left shoulder:
Compared to the sharp focus of everything else in the room, Rutherford's shoulder dissolves into thin air. Very poorly defined. The other shoulder and arm on the left-hand side do not fare much better either.

Re Witness My Fury's point, I am not so sure if the intent of the image is to deceive. Probably it was. But another possibility is that it was made as a parody, such as on a forum like this, and it was later picked up by others who thought it was real. I did my own Photoshop parody of Rutherford with a liquor glass once and I have seen it reposted elsewhere. In this case however it is 100% clear that it is a parody because it was done as a faux Awake! cover. But without that context, it could have been more ambiguous, especially if the Photoshop job had been better. The intent in this case may well have been to deceive but I don't think the other possibility can be excluded either. We just don't know what the original context of the image was.
