I tried to kill myself on Aug 13, 2005. I am now very glad I didn't succeed. I went and got help instead. In my case it took 28 days in rehab and a lot of AA meetings after that.

Varian, I hope you check in on your thread this evening. There are so many people who have been at the point you are at now and can tell you there is a future for you. You will find friendships and purpose.
A few weeks ago you asked about medication, you owe it to yourself to get the help you need. Tell somebody how you are feeling tonight, there is help to get you through this.
I hope you make the right decision, make this the beginning of your recovery.

3, I had a friend that successfully committed suicide. All the reasons they did it resolved themselves soon after. It isn't a solution. You have the potential to enjoy a wonderful life. Look at all the people who have responded to you. We care. At least give us a chance to help you.
