This great video somewhat relates to this. Christianity originated from Egyptian mythology...

sorry for the dupe
That is not a great video, unshackled. There is little evidence for it's claims and plenty to contradict it.

Agreed poopsie...that site is one of my favorites. Tons of info on there and the presentation/design is excellent.
Thanks for posting it! I'm totally geeking out over there
There was just a show on the History channel called Ancient Aliens. It was showing these huge underwater pyramids off the coast of Cuba and Japan etc. that were dated 10,000+ years ago using many factors such as ice melt, volanic eruptions, etc. It was so cool to think that these people existed thousands of years BEFORE the Watchtower interprets Adam & Eve's creation...and that they were not dummies and could have been helped by aliens.
Hi Black Sheep...I'm fairly new on here but should've known that almost every subject has been scoured. There's a lot to filter in that previous thread...so I'll work my way thru it.
I haven't seen this movie Zeitgeist, just that couple minutes in that YouTube video. But finding out it moves on to conspiracy theories about 9/11 and the Federal Reserve seems rather dubious.
Though the claims made in that one segment I've read and seen elsewhere. First one that comes to mind is Bill Maher's Religulous documentary. Which, come to think of it, probably been scoured on here as well.
Hmm, wouldn't know where to start, but here is one you maybe haven't heard of yet.
the oldest texts found are about tree worshippers and they pre-date moses.
