Skeeter, I saw that show. Very interesting about sea level changes. 150-200 ft sea level increase covering some very advanced cultures all over the world. The underwater Temples off the Coast of India (exposed during the Tsunami a few years ago). Black Sea sites, English channel sites Etc. THAT would lead to flood myths in many cultures. Even today Most large cities are located near the coast. It would SEEM like the end of the world to ancients.
The WTBS chronology (borrowed from earlier groups 1700s) IS WAY OFF however. There was another history channel show about the Millerites, Issac Newton and others prediction of "The End" in early 1800s. Very thought provoking. Heck a 200' foot sea level change to someone in London, NYC, L.A. or Sydney even today would seem like the end of the world to millions of people.
