Do you believe that Armstrong was really on the moon?

There is absolutely no evidence that support man did not land on the moon. It is a flat-earth stupid statement to deny man landed on the moon.

BUT THE FLAG MOVED IN WIND! THERE IS NO WIND ON THE MOON!

(I liked the mythbusters on this subject)

Dear Sab's statement aside (peace to you, dear one... and "exhaust" from the spaceship?), I believe they did for one reason, dear Heaven (peace to you, as well!): property rights. And nothing more. Which is what I learned of in my Property Law class. You see, a millenia or so ago, Spain, England, France, and Germany, had an agreement: any land that was unoccupied by any of them... and not developed (i.e., laid waste) could be "discovered" by whichever one of them placed its flag FIRST. Hence, the charge to the "New World." Although occupied, the land was vastly undeveloped and so considered, by the European monarchies (which largely consisted of one family!), as "undiscovered" and so discoverable.

Which is the reason FOR the moon expedition: the U.S., which largely follows English Common Law, and certainly so as to property rights... had joined the world in thinking that, given the state of our planet, its air and water quality, spreading disease, etc., that mankind just might need to find other places to colonize. Since the moon is closest, it would logically be the first choice. But WHO would colonize the moon? Well, whoever got their first would own it, sooooo... And off they went. To the moon... to plant the U.S. flag, thus now indicating that the moon is "Property of the U.S.A."

Now, it is true that the rest of the world doesn't fully buy that, and so if there really ever is the possibility of colonizing the moon, we will most probably have the same situation as with Antartica. There, about 39 lay claim to that one piece of real estate. Only about five, however, including the U.S., of course, are taken seriously.

So, yes, I believe Armstrong & Company literally went to the moon and planted the American flag. But so as to lay claim to the property rights... and nothing more at that point.

But I wonder why they never been up to the moon again since the 60s? or have they?

I don't believe they have but it's obvious why not: there's nothing there. It really can't BE colonized (no water, air, etc.) at this time. Way too expensive. And, right now, no true need. Now, should science/technology come up with some way to cheaply colonize, you can bet your sweet booppies they'll go back. And so will a whole lot of other countries. To plant THEIR flags. On, say, the far side (or top/bottom, etc.).

I hope this helps and bid you all peace!

I don't believe they did or didn't. Given the limited evidence that I have been presented with in media I think that the probability is strong.

Do you believe that man has taken off from the earth and landed on it? So why is it so unreasonable to believe that man could land and take off from the moon which has an easier gravity to deal with?

It's so very hard to keep a secret that involves so many people. Especially if it's a lie.

NO OF COURSE NOT EVERYONE KNOWS THAT THE WHOLE EVENT WAS STAGED SECRETLY AT WARNER BROTHERS STUDIO IN HOLLYWOOD.

Are people really that stupid these days ?

The reason they stopped going to the moon was because they had gathered all the information they could

from the proceeding landings that followed the first one.

Therefore NASA's attention was to set up a space station and continue with experiments there.

There is a huge cost to make even make one expedition, space travel is not cheap.

I think all those people that think it was a conspiracy are a waste of human skin, personally. And that, sir or madame, is what I think.

I was there and it was pretty dull. The nightlife is pretty nonexistant and the scenery blows. Plus, you hafta wait forever for a drink. I wouldn't recommend it.

As for kooky conspiracy theorists, I'll go with Buzz Aldrin Reactions for $1000, Alex. Present company excepted,...

Do people really believe God chose the Bible Students in 1919?

Do people really believe only 8 people on earth are used by God to interpret the Bible?

Quite frankly I started to get a little suspicious myself when it was realized that a McDonald's Restaurant had been

established there and they were selling McMoon burgers.

Moon hoaxers are idiots. It's quite simple.

Nobody owns the moon. There's international law that says you can't make claims on celestial bodies. This is actually a problem for private companies that are thinking about mining or building structures on the moon.

There is water on the moon. Lot's of it. It's in the regolith. See LCROSS mission, which also took pictures of the Apollo landing sites where the LM stages and footprints are visible.

Lots of science was done on the moon. The data is still used to help understand the origin of the moon, and how planets and moons formed in the solar system.
