Terry, the title of this thread says it all , if that statement alone can't get through to an active JW, nothin' will

"The conclusion is that TRUTH must match one on one with reality. Anything more or less or different is a red flag----a signal that there is distortion, corruption or lying going on!"

The problem with the buggers is that the red flag doesn't go off over the distortion or corruption. The red flag goes off over you when you point the problem to them.

This does show that Jehovahs witnesses are a man made organization who are tossed about their own opinions.

I finished writing my Freemind column last night and emailed it to Randy. Then I came here and read your post Terry.

My column is entitled "Trust me" Should we?

I am amazed at how I bought into all those changes; how trusting I was despite the constant breaches of trust.

But abusers are good at manipulating trust. And when called on their manipulations the retort with "But God/the Bible/our researc/new light said/says. . . " It is endless. people will buy what is being sold as long as they believe God is the one calling the shots.

I'm free. Thanks to my not wanting to die I am free

    Answer......

It can't be true then.... I agree 1,000,000%.

If truth is spoken as truth.... it can never change or ..... it seizes to be Truth! Black and white/ Up and down/

    Truth + change= Lies!

I liked how Fred Franz put it in his 1984 talk "Decisions".

First he said how glad he was, pre-1914, to read a little booklet on what happens to the dead. He said he "found the truth!"

Then later in the talk he said, in regards to the finished Mystery "It was not the truth". Then he discounted all the literature up to that time as not being the truth.
