THANK YOU. First time going with awareness and saw and heard them say Judas NOT there ....only 11. I knew he was for bread and meal and confirmed tonight that he was ALSO there for wine. Made huge impact on hubby too. He finally started COC this week.

Lovely people I would likely not see unless I was there tonight. Almost exactly following outline and notes to letter as last year. I showed notes on iPad to hubby from last year during talk and he said we can stay home and follow same outline again next year!

Still trying to get my head around all this ....that Judas partook unworthily, but partook. We all do have free will.

Overall glad I went. I enjoyed it from a whole new angle.

There was a lot of don't partake propaganda (I think its embarrassing to them the number increases, now they just threaten).

Also in my extra faded state and a new hall I would say at least half the audience were us, faders, slackers and exjw's. wild to think that many in this hall don't attend any meetings, the org might be in worse shape than I imagined.

An elder asked me tonight, mildly sarcastically, if I showed up to help boost attendance.

I am staying with my mom and she is so past giving a damn that she didn't even mention it to me. She came home late as I was coming home and told me she had just been to memorial.

I'm kind of surprised but not really. She knows she doesn't want to ever start a conversation with me because I will be better informed than she is (other than knowing when she watched everyone pass around food they weren't eating and wine they weren't drinking).

I guess I am the swine she no longer throws pearls at.

The buffoon of a speaker at the memorial I was at made the statement that 'most in the world are confused as to who should partake of the emblems, but Jehovah's Witnesses believe that the Bible is crystal clear as to who should and should not partake.'

Yet to all in attendance he stressed and repeated the words obey, obedience, disobedience, disobey and disobedient abundantly throughout the whole talk.

So obviously even among Jehovah's Witnesses there is ongoing confusion and commotion as to who should and should not partake so much so that WT has to remind the R & F to obey!

The talk I heard was all about paradise. In the beginning we were reminded that Christ made paradise possible but the rest of the time was all about paradise. Who will be in paradise and who will be in heaven.

Used sandy Hook incident to remind ppl how scary the world is.so scary just sending your little ones to school. Also used German airplane crash as a scare tactic.

the man who said the prayer before the bread showed more appreciation on his prayer than the speaker did in 45 mins.

the man who prayed before the wine said a long ass prayer. It seemed so rehearsed. He seemed to be reading his prayer. Lol

Oh you poor little Watchtower leaders. THIS is not the result of confusion. Fewer and fewer take you seriously anymore! You are growing more irrelevant every day. You are background noise! Your blah blah blah has been weighed in the balance and you have failed to meet expectations.

    @ STIRRED;

Just remember that not one of the 12 was anointed when the bread and wine were taken!

I went to a christian church in the morning, the singing was so heartfelt and quite emotional.

Went to yoga in the afternoon, I felt compassion and calm.

Went to the memorial in the evening, it felt legalistic, boring and no soul in the place.
