No it was not:
However, the Senate bill passed by the House on March 21, 2010 did not contain that Hyde Amendment language

Get your facts straight. And no, the executive statement is not a Hyde Amendment. It is not law. It exists at the whim of someone (Obama) that repeatedly blocked attempts at saving the lives of children that survived abortions (BAIPA). It is a joke.

We can use some Islamic countries to make this point. In some countries, 75-84% of their populace think stoning adulterers is acceptable! Does that make it right? No. But under Sharia Law, it is legal and acceptable. Their society...their social values...find stoning an adulteress perfectly acceptable.

LOL. Wonder what the rest of the world thinks of us when we put those morals and laws above theirs but then read that we have the highest number of prisoners in the world; that we still have the death penalty; that we are the highest users of some of the nastiest drugs; that we have more of our children on prescription drugs than any other country and that we argue about insurance for a woman who seeks out a medical service aka abortion from her doctor - a medical situation that should be private between patient and doctor - and then get enraged when it is suggested that a gun owner have gun insurance.
One can only wonder.....sammieswife

That's why my focus was to the gossip aspect of this topic. I'm bored with the other aspect and I have a right to put my focus where I want it.
This ain't no kingdom hall.
Mrs. Jones,
I'm sorry if you thought I was trying to push you to change your focus. I was just explaining myself, so it didn't sound like I was getting upset over a stranger's situation, which I thought maybe you were saying. This topic will be discussed back and forth forever, but see, this is the very first time I've ever been free to discuss it. So, I jumped on the opportunity. Like you say, this ain't no kingdom hall.
Anyway, I wasn't trying to be critical--furthest thing from my mind. Since I'm weighing in for the first time on this taboo topic, I didn't want to be misunderstood. One day I'll tire of the topic, and then I'll just skip the posts, but today, I just want to finally be able to speak freely.

Here we go with one of sammie's hate-filled twisted like a pretzel red herring posts raging against the "American way". Let's see: prisons, death penalty, drugs, parenting, insurance, and guns!!!!!!!!!! ROFLMFAO! Where to start?!

the President issued an executive order on March 24, 2010 affirming that the Hyde Amendment would extend to the new bill. [6]
Get your facts straight. This is not about preserving the laws as they stand or ensuring federal funding is withheld, it's pure and simple about a way to make abortions nearly impossible even if they are legal. Primarily for the poor and middle class. Make sure they are unavailable even if you have to murder and terrorize doctors and practitioners.

Well that is a statement of opinion, and I am all for that. However, the facts are what the facts are, and yet again, you have find yourself with rotten eggs on your face when it comes to the facts.

Actually the question is: take it back from who (or is it whom) ? Who took the country away from Americans to begin with?
