On the other side of the coin, it was a thrill being a Bethel speaker in a foreign language congregation. I always had two Bethel boys as traveling companions as we traveled by train or bus to different towns early Sunday mornings. I would begin on time, only the two bros in the audience. By the close of the hour - hour talks then - the rented hall was filled.
Hospitality from and sincere appreciation of the humble brothers and sisters made the experience memorable and very much worth the effort.
